Here in Bennington we have an interior gate on one of our vaults that does
not work, if it is shut it won't open back up.  We have a local locksmith
that came and got it open for us once.  I don't know if he would be able to
help in your situation or not, but here is the name/number.  Adams Lock and

Help! My lock on my vault has broken (at least it was in the open position
when it decided to go to vault heaven - or lock heaven.) Jeannine from
Charleston told me she had to have Mosler from Massachusetts come up last
year to fix her's and it cost the town around $800!! Has anyone out there
had any luck with a Vermont locksmith? If so, send me the name and number.
