Patti, a group at St. Elizabeth's Medical Center in Boston was doing work in
this area. I've added a link for you. Unfortunately, the lead researcher
passed away. I don't know if this work is continuing or not. We had a
presentation made to our chapter a few years ago by the chief vascular tech
who was involved in pre and post treatment evaluation and I remember being
impressed by the preliminary results.

Subject: stem cell research w/PVD
We are interested in getting involved in Stem Cell research treatment of PVD
at our institution at the request of a generous donor. I would appreciate
any contact or information that may lead me properly.
