  I doubt you are right about Cardiologists being better.
   Cardiologists have never seen the inside of a vessel to correlate the
ultrasound findings.
    I doubt they know as much about flow physiology
    They are probably not as knowledgeable about vascular disease, plaque
morphology, the progression of vascular disease
