I have worked in all combinations with & without vascular..The only problem
I have seen is that frequently some cardiologists, internists. (and some
radiologists) have a tendency to overlook vascular hemodynamics and use
black & white statistics to interpret vascular exams. And not all cardiac
sonographers or abdomen or others want to perform quality vascular exams.
But there are exceptions to each of these circumstances. I strongly
suggest that vascular exams results must be compared to angios, surgeries,
clinical follow-ups to promote quality examinations AND interpretations.
