Connie I would advise you to check with the nursing dept at your hospital.
That is a major nursing territory and removing the dressing is only part of
the issue, but having the patient return to the floor without dressings
will really cause havoc among the short staff nurses. Unna boots in most
hospitals are done under wound care. You may want to check with that dept
too. K
