Ted Murin, Jim Osborne and Larry Hills found two excellent rarities today
from the Charlotte shoreline:
NORTHERN GANNETT (passed by at 10:40)
BLACK-LEGGED KITTIWAKE (passed by at 11:10)
Plus a probable PACIFIC/ARCTIC LOON
80 RED-THROATED LOONS
155 COMMON LOONS
They also "counted" 16,000+ SNOW GEESE
11 species of duck including
80 LONG-TAILED DUCK
10,000+ GULLS
