Northern Mocking Bird appeared at mid day for the first time this winter. One has visited us almost each year for five years or so, disappearing in summer. We believe it is drawn by the berry bushes of various types in the area.
Turkey flock has gone away again this year a week before Thanksgiving. Not sure if they went north toward the interstate or south toward Shelburne line past the golf course.
In the Stonehedge woods just off the walking path is a witch hazel just passing its bloom of yellow flowers. Amazing to see.
