We went from AES to WinSchl a couple of years ago. I had to capture various
reports to files as they were printed (used the capture command from our
Netware OS), then imported the resulting ASCII files into Word where I
massaged the data until it was completely uniform. Once that was done I
imported into Excel and saved it in a format that WinSchl was comfortable
with. WinSchl had its own import process which made the actual import very
smooth. I don't know how Web2School handles the import, but it is probably
similar. The hardest part is putting together all the report files. There
were data entry errors in AES that had to be cleaned up, but the biggest
task was getting rid of leading spaces, extra carriage returns, etc. Thank
heaven for the Search and Replace function in Word.
