In Chelsea:
Visitors at feeders: two families of Chickadees, five in each; three
Redbreasted Nuthatches; two Brown Creepers on White Pines; flock of American
Goldfinches, varying in size between 20 to 40.
At suet cages: Downy Woodpecker, female; Hairy Woodpecker, female.
Along highway 14, between exit 89 at Sharon and 110 junction at South
Royalton.  Over a field soaring on thermals a White Gyrfalcon, male.  Thought
at first it might have been an Albino Redtail or juvenile Krider's, but the
conformation was certainly falcon and not buteo.
