A Northern Shrike was present at the LaPlatte River Marsh trailhead at the
south end of Shelburne Bay yesterday, 17 February 2003.  At about 4:30, the
bird flew over my head carrying a small rodent.  When I came back out of
the woods around 5:15, it was perched at the top of a tree, right on the
south side of Bay Road.
