On Tuesday, February 18th at 12:30, I saw a peregrine falcon on the
Burlington waterfront. It was sitting on the rock jetty that shelters
the Coast Guard station harbor, and it seemed to be eyeing the mallards
that gather in the open water around the Coast Guard boats. After about
20 minutes it flew away to the north. I think it was a juvenile, but it
was too far away for me to be certain.
