I went down to the Coast Guard Station to look for the Falcated Duck, and
my best guess is that it is a Mallard - Wood Duck hybrid.  I didn't get a
great look at the bird, so I'd welcome other opinions.  There is a nice
male Hooded Merganser hanging out under the docks, as well as a few Common
Mergansers.
