Sharon,
Things to try:
Raisins soaked in warm water until plump
Store-bought cherries, blueberries, etc.
Mealworms or fishing nightcrawlers in a dish or bowl
Bluebird Nuggets
All need to be placed in a platform-type feeder or other feeder that will
allow access to big birds, or possibly on the ground under the tree.

Subject: help for Robins?
> I'm sure this subject has been discussed before, however I can't seem to
recall....is there any way one can help the poor Robins that are here now?
They have been visiting my weeping crab tree, and have almost eaten all the
crabapples, so now I am worrying about them. Any suggestions?
