Angele - Last year there was one regularly performing from the Christmas tree farm along the rail-trail south of Poultney. A little bit before the bridge, there is a place to head off the trail into the tree farm. It was performing from about the center (N/S) towards the western edge. You could usually hear it from the trail.
In the past there was one behind the elementary school, but that has not been reliable since they put in more ball fields.
Jim Graves and I also had one along the loop road on the Birdathon one year.
I may take my animal behavior class out at some point this spring so I will be looking too. Let me know if you are/are not successful.
