The first song sparrows arrived at our feeder on East Warren Rd in Waitsfield last Sunday along with juncoes and a flock of purple finches.  The American tree sparrows are still here.  
Also saw four turkey vultures circling over the Mad River in Moretown this afternoon and my first phoebe of the season by the covered bridge in Waitsfield.
