Two Louisiana Waterthrushes were singing (right on time) this morning at
The Nature Conservancy's Buckner reserve at Bald Mountain in West Haven
(page 78 in "Birdwatching in Vermont"). Yellow-rumped Warblers were there
as well.

I made a quick stop at the reserve on my way home from an awesome trip to
North Carolina. Rest assured, the migrants are coming. (Only problem is
that many of those southerners don't get up here.) But that TNC property is
certainly worth more investigation for southern species.

Spring Azure and Mourning Cloak were also flying at the reserve today.
