The Marshy pond in south Brandon (Rte 7, 1.5 mi. north of Otter Valley UHS,
east side of road) has had a number of species this past week, including a
good number of Hooded and Common Mergs, poss. a Pied Billed Grebe, a
Bufflehead on Sunday, Canada Geese and Mallards. Hard to say what else, as i
didn't stop (bad traffic, tho' the produce stand at the north end is a
possibility at which to pull over).
