Sunday morning while walking my usual haunt of Higbee Road in Monkton, I also had a chance to see and hear four Snipes going up and down and chasing each other through the swamp having a grand old time... or were they staking out their territory?!?! This morning (Monday) I saw one swooping up and down and could hear one on the ground talking back at it. On Sunday I also saw numerous Ruby Crowned Kinglets -- I heard them first in with a group of Chickadees.
This morning on my way to work I was driving by the Burlington Airport garage when a Mockingbird flew across the road in front of me.
