It was fun getting home after work today, as I spotted my first Kestrel on
Bishop Road in Shelburne, close to home; and then saw my first male
Bluebird in a neighbor's yard on the way in off Bishop Road.
At home, while replenishing the bird feeders, 4 Purple Finchs (including a
male) came by to eat while I stood still close by.
These are the first Purple Finchs for this year in the back yard, in fact
since late Oct, and they were very sparsely seen at all last year.
Also, had a group of Cedar WaxWings come by, but I have been seeing them
Earlier in the day had several Turkey Vultures close by overhead.
Enjoy the weekend!
