Greetings, VTLep-heads:

The VBS training scheduled for Saturday at 2 p.m. at McCrea Farm in
Colchester is STILL ON as scheduled. We might get some rain, in which case
we'll move indoors to talk butterflies and watch a slide show. I hope folks
can make it. Bring your net, camera, VBS materials, and questions. Here are
directions:

From Burlington take Rt. 127 (the beltline) north to
Colchester. When in Colchester, you'll come to a light
(there's a gas station on the left and Dunkin Donuts
on the right), turn right here. The road is called
McCrae Road (its called Porter's Point Rd to the left).
Just before there is a sign indicating a Winooski
Valley Park District park. Just follow the road all the way
to the end at a parking lot where we'll meet at 2 p.m.

Meanwhile, with all this rain, I've been spending some quality time with
moths at a UV light at night. If the rain keeps up, we might have to change
VBS to VMS.

Best,
Bryan Pfeiffer
