Is this "mbox" or ".mbox" ?
The "mbox" format in unix looks more like a text file with email
headers embedded in it
Return-Path: <[log in to unmask]>
Delivered-To: [log in to unmask]
Date: 3 Jan 1996 01:05:34 -0000
From: God <[log in to unmask]>
To: [log in to unmask] (D. J. Bernstein)
How's that mail system project coming along?
As such, it can be read with any "ascii" friendly program - emacs,
vi, wordpad, pico, etc.
