Using the logging features of the antivirus monitoring server, we have
been able to generate a few reports of files infected with BugBear.B.
Hopefully you will find this information in locating and assisting users
who have had their systems damaged by BugBear.B.
The first report is the "hot" files... reported instances of Windows
system file corruption (Internet Explorer/Outlook Express, Regedit, Help
The second report contains a list of ALL files destroyed by BugBear.
This includes such commonly used programs as Windows Media Player,
RealPlayer, WinZip, AIM, and Acrobat Reader:
To assist in the repair of damaged files, the following application
installer have been made available via FTP service (on-campus only):
