Neal, A utility on the W2k resource kit, Srvany.exe will do this. I am a
little surprised first class does not have a native way to enable itself as
a service, have you been in touch with firstclass tech support?

Subject: Windows 2000 question
Does anyone know how to get Win2000 to treat a program as a service rather
than an application? The problem:
I have First Class Server running on Win 2000. Every time the power goes
down and the machine reboots, someone (usually me) has to drive into
school, log into the machine and then doubleclick the server to get it back
up. I'm sure there must be a better way. Any suggestions or past
experiences that you can suggest?
Thanks
