This program will provide participants with the essential tools of
supervision-planning, organizing, leading and controlling. Discussions and
hands-on exercises will include identifying and understanding your
management styles and determining what style to use when; correcting and
improving behavior with difficult employees; conflict management tools;
team building; handling daily problems and challenges; and an overview of
basic legal issues.
Instructor: Ralph Braithwaite
Topics will include:
* Planning-creating visions for success; setting goals and objectives
* Organizing-identifying tasks, determining and managing resources,
estimating time and scheduling
* Leading--identifying different management styles to determine which will
be most effective with your employees including motivating, delegating,
rewarding, coaching and disciplining
* Controlling-handling problems and decisions; managing priorities;
managing change, managing issues
* Conflict management tools
