All,
Hi, I am adding a couple of PC computers onto our Macintosh network.
We have a few Macintosh OS X servers which are capable of acting as a
samba server. I am able to connect to the computer with my Mac
computers using SMB but my test Windows 2000 Professional laptop
cannot see it. I go to "My Network Places" and click on "Entire
Network" choose the Microsoft Windows Network, and then finally
Workgroup but the server does not show up. The computer sees other
work stations, printers and servers but not the one I want to connect
to. In the system control panel under Network Identification the
workgroup is set to "WORKGROUP". I have restarted a number of times
without luck.
Any ideas?
