An early day encounter with a flock of 20 Bluebirds suggested more bird
activity for this warm, Oct. day. It turned out to be surprisingly quiet -
an occassional flock of C. Geese overhead, a few Robins, Chickadees and
Crows but nothing else of note coming through the yard EXCEPT:

1 lone butterfly........ didn't get a positive ID, but what else but a
Monarch??
