John Sutton's report of the other day inspired me to go take a look this
afternoon at Berlin Pond. At about 3:00 p.m. this afternoon I found the
following:

2 Pied-billed Grebes (a pair?)
37 Canada Geese
5 Bufflehead
2 Gadwall (a pair)
18 Black Scoter
2 Horned Grebes (each by itself)
2 Long-tailed ducks (both male)
1 Common Loon
