Started in Burlington and worked south to Crown Point Bridge. The lake seemed deserted. Hardly any of anything. Squeeked out few birds of interest:
1x Bohemian Waxwing in a small flock of Cedar's
1x female Barrow's Goldeneye
1x Lapland Longspur in a mixed flock of Snow Buntings and Horned Larks (several 100)
3x Red-breasted Mergansers
Oh, and not to forget several thousand Snow Geese at Dead Creek.
Included several Blue Phase and 1 x Blue Phase Ross's Goose hybrid.
Horned Grebes were apparent at most lake stops. Common Mergansers were noticeable by their absence.
Plenty of Red-tailed Hawks, a few Rough-leggeds and Northern Harriers including great views of a male harrier.
Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
