Interesting... I recently returned from a trip to the SF Bay Area, where they
are having a Tropical Kingbird "invasion year", meaning lots of vagrants
turning up as far north as the Eureka, CA area. Normally this species shows up
once or twice a year along the CA coast. Definitely some kind of Tropical
Kingbird event this year.
