Are you a librarian from outside North America who wants to visit and work in medical libraries in the United States or Canada? Would your position and work be enhanced by such an experience?
The Cunningham International Fellowship is given annually to a librarian who has both an undergraduate degree or a master's level library disgree and who is working or preparing to work in a health sciences library in their native country.
The purpose of the Fellowship is to educate librarians and provide opportunities for observation and supervised work in medical libraries across North America. The Fellowship program provides funding for one medical librarian from outside the United States and Canada to work in a US or Canadian medical library. The four month program provides a $6000 living stipend and $2000 for related travel.
The deadline for submitting applications for the 2005 fellowship is December 1, 2003. More information and an application form can be found at www.mlanet.org/awards/grants or from Lisa Fried at [log in to unmask]
