Whew!  the male Cardinal was back in the bush with his mate yesterday, both
of them eating grapes - not peeled.  8-)  Also a pair of mourning doves under
the feeder, joining d & h woodpeckers, blue jays, nuthatches, timice, bc
chickadees & goldfinches.  A grey squirrel sat on the fence licking peanut butter
off the sunflower heads.  I tie the dried stalks to the fence as the heads make
great places to smear pb and the chickadees love to hang off them to snack.
