Just as the big snow began Sat morn (we got 25 in Huntington) an adult peregrine (no bands) swooped down and took a pigeon and proceeded to have brunch on a telephone pole just outside the kitchen window. We watched it eat for maybe 45 minutes. Having spent a winter watching peregrines outside it was nice to have and indoor view.
