Our local flock that cruises the Spear and Swift street area in South Burlington and drops by for some grazing every few days. About 11 birds in two groups.
This morning after the heavy snow we found them flying in with great control and pin point accuracy. More like a glide of the Ravens or Crow than the usual waddle of the Turkey.
What amazed us was the sight of one of the biggest toms way up in the top of a 40-50 foot Pine tree. Perched serenely. I do have a photo.
