A Northern Shrike snatched a chickadee off the feeder Saturday afternoon
(12/14).  It landed on the ground  a few feet from the feeder (and my
window) where it gave a few quick bites to the neck, then flew off with the
chickadee still kicking in it's feet.  It didn't disrupt the feeding of the
other dozen or so chickadees for more than a few seconds.
