At the risk of having hundreds of salivating birders beating a path down my
road in Hinesburg, I want to say that I had a common grackle at my feeder
this morning. I would gladly trade him for all the redpolls and siskins
that the rest of you are seeing. And I have seen a bunch of snow buntings
and a couple of horned larks along Dorset St. in Shelburne and South
Burlington the last few days.
