Hello Ladies and Gents!
How are you all? Did everyone get my Valentines? They probably got snagged in
corrupt Delhi, but I was thinking of you all anyways.
Things here are still amazing, I'm taking a study break right now, first midterm
tommorow for Buddhist studies. I have incredible stories to share, but not much
time right now due to the imepending exams. it's pretty hilarious to be
studying wisdom, compassion, duality, the nature or reality, existence and
suffering, the cycle of life and the perfection of meditative practice for an
exam... but i'm trying.
the reason i'm writing is that most of you have probably gotten emails about
Bonnaroo (june 11-13), but if you haven't, the Headliners (among bob dylan, the
dead, yonder mountain, string cheese, ani difranco, vida blue, david byrne
(naive melody, come on!), willie nelson, soulive, bill laswell, trey, etc etc
etc) are DAVE MATTHEWS & FRIENDS (my lifeforce during finals, if you remember,
and something i prescibe for 80% of all of lifes ills...) and the legendary and
awe-inspiring TAJ MAHAL!! did i just die and buy a ticket to Bonnaroo heaven ?
I THINK SO!!
I did actually justbuy my ticket and was hoping that a handful of you, my fine
international friends, would like to accompany me... i know that most of us
will be just returning from our respective countries, but i think it would be
an awesome way to deal with being back home, and a great time to talk about our
trips...
anyone up for it? and if $$ is an issue, i will pick up the tickets and you can
pay me back sometime in VT.I mean, i think i have a good handle on where you
all live.
also, what's going on with the travel journal? is it making it's way around,
last i heard tess had it... who has it now?
ok, so please think about it...
