If you are a Panther user in the 104 subnet (basement of waterman),
you are invited to participate in a test / demonstration of XGrid ...
the ""supercomputing grid" package for Mac OS X.

To participate

1. Download and Install the software:
        This will result in a rebooting of your system as the OS
        gets updated.
        Advanced Computational Group
        http://www.apple.com/acg/xgrid/

2. Set your System Preferences for xGrid
        a. bind to any server
        b. always accept a connection
        c. start your xgrid
        (all of the rest can be blank)


3. Contact SJC (cavrak on AIM) or WAW (MadDogSkiDeath on
AIM) for the password and help in testing the grid.
