Hi All!
Here is the info on an upcoming panel on the subject of the fight for Gay
Marriage. This should be good. Come if you can and forward this to all
list-serves you are on and let all your friends and classmates know about
this.

The Fight for Gay Marriage: Separate is not Equal!
What's happening nationally, what we can do locally. . .

Featured Speakers:

Christopher Kaufman, R.U.1.2.
Speaker from the VT Freedom to Marry Task Force, TBA
Sherry Wolf, International Socialist Organization
Peggy Luhrs, Women's International League for Peace and Freedom

Since the Massachusetts court decision to allow gay marriage, right-wingers have
swung into action, organizing to deny gays and lesbians equal rights.
President Bush even wants to ammend the federal constitution to prevent gay
couples from marrying! But all over the country, regular people are standing
up and demanding equal rights, from Newpaltz to Seattle to San Francisco.

Come join a discussion on this important national struggle and what you can do
to help win same-sex marriages here in Vermont!

Wednesday, March 31st, 7:30pm
Williams Hall, Room 301, University of Vermont
On University Place (off of Main Street), Burlington, VT
