Joe -
In Stowe and Morristown we use both Apple iBooks with airports and
Compaq laptops, with built in antennas, with Cisco base stations. Our
experience is that the Compaq laptops are much more durable than the
iBooks. We have had a real issue with the keyboards on the iBooks and
the Compaq have been great for the past year and half. Batteries do get
a lot of use and we are planning to replace batteries in both the apples
and the Compaqs after a year and half of use. They will not hold a
charge like they used too. Both machines work great through either the
airport of the Cisco wireless hubs.

Subject: Wireless in Schools
Hello,
I was wondering how people are using wireless in schools. We are
thinking
about maybe adding some wireless labs or something to that extent, and
just
wanted to see what pros and cons other people have run into. Also, if
you
are/have used it, what equipment would you recommend/not recommend?
Thanks,
