We started small with an apple airport, 4 Ibooks and 2 gateway laptops
with wireless cards that we use as a small mobile lab. Our teachers
really like it so we put the newer 802.11g extreme airport from Apple
with the additional antennae in our library and have some workstations
using it. We plan to expand wireless around our building more for next
year.
The Ibooks found the wireless card with no effort, the PC laptops took a
little more configuration.

Hello,
I was wondering how people are using wireless in schools. We are
thinking
about maybe adding some wireless labs or something to that extent, and
just
wanted to see what pros and cons other people have run into. Also, if
you
are/have used it, what equipment would you recommend/not recommend?
Thanks,
