Winooski uses another expensive product, MacSchool by by Chancery (
http://www.chancery.com ). If you have the talent you could build your
own database using FileMaker Pro. Perhaps Bob Owens would like to make
some money making it? Be aware, any program you purchase is going to
have its own quirks - we sometimes have to struggle to get MacSchool do
what we want and the State (VT) keeps making Microsoft Access databases
for a number of reasons and it is a struggle getting data out of
MacSchool (and most other programs), for the State forms, especially
since the State changes the forms each year. Good luck!
Perhaps the State of VT will invest in a register, attendance program
and *give* it to the schools - everyone would be on the same level and
the State could do all of the troubleshooting. It's late (I have a two
year old and a newborn) and I must be delusional.
