There is so much going on at UVM in the coming weeks that it cannot possibly
fit in one email. I have posted a few upcoming events around campus on the

As the events surrounding Spring Fest begin, culminating with Cake and Particle
on the Bailey-Howe green, I am sure that there is an event for everyone. For a

forget that tickets are still available for Mo Rocca and the Spring Fest Cake

The University of Vermont Community is invited to pay tribute to the life of
William J. (Bill) Walls V. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, April
17, 2004 at 12:00pm in the John Dewey Lounge, Old Mill. Bill Walls, a second
year student at the University and a resident of Harris Hall, died on January
29, from complications related to Marfan syndrome. Refreshments will be served
following the service.
Blue Lights Campaign:
April 17th at 10am the UVM HIV/AIDS Taskforce will be sponsoring an AIDS
Awareness Event. Anyone interested in volunteering to help with the campaign
should stop by the Volunteers in Action office in the basement of Billings. If

UVM Cycling:
This weekend the Cycling will be hosting a series of races here at UVM! Sunday
UVM Criterium will take place on campus from 7am-12pm. Please come out and
support the UVM Cycling team. For more information and a complete list of

**Vermont Scholars Present**:
“Everything you need to know about Vermont in 30 minutes or less” featuring
UVM’s own Professor Frank Bryan. The event will take place Tuesday, April
20th, from 7pm-8:30pm, in Memorial Lounge, Waterman Building. The lecture and
discussion will be held from 7-8 PM, with a reception immediately following.
UVM DREAM 2nd annual Spring Thing:
Friday, April 30th, from 4-8pm on the Redstone Green DREAM will be sponsoring
its second annual festival. All proceeds help support DREAM and their
important mission. Luke “Patchen” Montgomery of Strangefolk will be
performing. Opening will be Honey Nut Roasted. There will be food, games,
raffles and much more.
A Closer Walk:
April 28th, at 7pm in MLS 235: A Closer Walk Documentary will be shown. The
documentary explores the AIDS crisis throughout the world and will be followed
by a discussion with Nils Dulaire, head of the Global Health Council.
UVM Rescue needs you:
Do you know CPR? Ever really done it? UVM Rescue is an advanced life support
emergency service ambulance operated by volunteer UVM students. UVM Rescue
serves campus, the city of South Burlington, as well as parts of the interstate
24 hours a days, 365 days a year. What can we do for you? By joining UVM
Rescue, you could learn skills such as airway management, IV therapy,
defibrillation, and CPR, all while becoming an EMT-Basic or EMT-Intermediate
and earning up to 12 credits! To learn more, call 656-4287, email us at
