Dear UVM Students,

1.  Student Appreciation Day
2.  DREAM
3.  Green Up Day

1.  Student Appreciation Day ----------------------------
     Student Appreciation Day, this Saturday at Centennial Field!  There will
be
free food, courtesy of Kevin's Mountain Dogs and Nectars from 11:00-12:00.
Come out and support the men's lacrosse team as the Cats host UMBC at 1:00 PM
in a huge game with America East playoff ramifications.  The UVM Baseball team
will host conference foe Maine in a doubleheader starting at 12:00pm.  The Cats
are currently in fifth place and battling for a spot in the America East
post-season as well.  See you at Centennial!

2.  DREAM   ----------------------------
     DREAM will be having its second annual DREAM Spring Thing this Friday,
April 30th on Redstone Green from 4-8pm.  It is a fundraiser event which will
include music by Luke "Patchen" Montgomery of Strangefolk and by Honey Nut
Roasted. Food, a raffle for awesome prizes, and games will also be a part of
it.

3.  Green Up Day   ----------------------------
     An initiative aimed at making the Burlington a cleaner city is upon us.
It
is referred to as “Green Up Burlington Day.”  May 1st from 9am -1pm.
Registration is at Champlain School (800 Pine Street).  Remove graffiti and
garbage in Burlington.  Get a free t-shirt and enjoy other activities such as
music and food.  Transportation to sites, supplies, and lunch are all provided.

4.  Volunteer with VIA   ----------------------------
     If you want to volunteer over the summer with Food Salvage, e-mail Pete

     Food Salvage is every Sunday 5-7pm at the King Street Youth Center.
