Good to hear the terns are back. Time to get the boat in the water.

Subject: [VTBIRD] Tern and Merlin
From the Burlington Bike Path this afternoon, I had two interesting
sightings: A common tern sitting on a pillar in the lake
immediately in front of the water treatment plant.
A very vocal merlin in the trees near North Beach. On the east
side of the bike path just after passing the entrance from the bike
path into the campground. Wouldn't it be great if it was the
offspring of the Red Rocks merlins? Maybe we'll have merlins all
along the shore of Lake Champlain!
