I read that the bears are coming out of hibernation, and the Vt. Dept. of
Fish and Wildlife is already advising folks to stop feeding the birds to deter
the creation of nuisance bears.
With hungry avian migrants coming back to not much native food out there
(very few insects yet, for example), I notice the birds are much more numerous at
my feeder of late. I don't want to stop feeding yet!
Comments? When do most folks stop feeding the birds for this season?
I'm sure this will generate many thoughts and opinions, which I welcome, as
I'm sure others will, too.
