I am growing increasingly curious as to how long the Bohemian Waxwings are
going to linger here in the "Southeast" before returning to the NW for the

I finally got a good photo opportunity yesterday afternoon with the flock on
Deerfield Rd in South Burlington. There were only about 30 birds still
around after peaking at over 300 birds over the previous weekend.
Also singing Brown Creepers, Eastern Phoebes, a singing Winter Wren and I
believe "singing" wood frogs on Shelburne Point yesterday. I didn't have my
binoculars with me while working out on the point but a few Bufflehead, a
few DC Cormorants and lots of Ring-billed Gulls and Common Mergansers flying
by or overhead.
