No bears in Burlington but a fox leaving my yard from the general direction of my
Housesparrows are courting in the pine trees, starlings carrying nesting materials,
house finches singing, downys drumming, beautiful cardinals chipping, flashy blue
jays collecting peanuts and the goldfinches are back. I haven't seen them for a few
weeks. Still seeing waxwings in the south end of Burlington. Last week there were
a few Cedars but most of what I see and can identify are Bohemian.
Earlier this week a friend in Milton had a hawk (he thinks it was a cooper's) fly into
the living room window. It shattered. Unfortunately, the hawk did not survive. Yes,
there are feeders very close to that window.
Enjoy the sun today. Jo Ann Lafayette Burlington
