South of Brattleboro along the railroad track today - firsts for the year around here for me: butterbutts (aka Yellow-rumped Warbler of the Myrtle variety), Black-throated Green Warbler, Palm Warbler, Killdeer, Northern Flicker.
On Saturday around South Newfane - Yellow-bellied Sapsucker
Today, Monday, at the feeders - White-throated Sparrow, Chipping Sparrow
Purple Finches at the feeders are in GLORIOUS color!
And Eastern Phoebes seem to have rebounded from their scarcity last Spring at this time - I'm hearing & seeing them everywhere.
