Okay Anthony. I sounds like you have not properly setup the pH meter setting
in the Lab Wizard when you are creating your UDL file or you may not be
specifying complete dissociation and hydrolysis in the Reaction Tree.

The first thing to consider is to make sure that the Acid Base Lab box is
checked in the Lab Options window of the Lab Wizard, which it probably is,
but I think you should be sure.

Note that everytime you make a change to a UDL using the Lab Wizard, you
must click on the Next buttons until you finally click on the Finish button.
If you don't do this, your changes won't be saved in the UDL.

The second thing to consider is the Add Reactions window. For example of how
the reactions should be arranged and ordered, I suggest that you open the
Acetate Buffer lab module from the ChemLab Simulations Modules dialog box
and then select Edit UDL file ... from the File menu to run the Lab Wizard.
In the Reactions Window you should see that dissociation reactions for acids
and salts are specified first and that when you Edit the hydrolysis reaction
the Use Chemincal Equilbrium box is checked in the Reaction Details window.
Please have a look at your UDL and let me know if you have any more
questions. If you do send me another e-mail, please attach a copy of your
UDL file for me to inspect.
