Dear Annesh,
An excellent program for time-series analysis of evenly
sampled series is the SSA-MTM toolkit (www.atmos.ucla.edu/tcd/ssa/).
This package does basic Fourier transforms, Blackman-Tukey,
multi-taper (MTM), maximum entropy (MEM) and singular-spectrum
analysis (SSA) methods. It also includes good algorithms for testing
significance etc. Two programs (Spectrum and Redfit) allow analysis
of unevenly sampled time series and estimation of the red-noise
spectra from the same time series
(www.palmod.uni-bremen.de/~mschulz/).
Best,
